■摘要：
Generally speaking, China consists of 55 ethnic minorities and one majority.However, it is widely known, that there are over 400 ethnic groups and 80 % of them are not recognized as minzu (民族).The speech will focus on where these numbers come from, what they mean and what is the theory behind this minzu shibie (民族识别)。We will look at specifics of this classification and what is the difference between being ethnic and feeling ethnic.
