Global China from the Ground: Local Politics and the Everyday Mediation of Chinese Influence in the Philippines

活動簡介｜

探討中共與中國在國際上的影響力，成為了解中國如何成為世界強權的重要研究取徑。中國政府透過一帶一路議程、龐大投資、以及其他政治、社會與文化介入，對東南亞社會產生巨大的影響。這個工作坊探討中國政府與企業在東南亞國家，尤其是菲律賓與越南等地，如何組織化與網絡化的影響當地政治、經濟與社會的過程，以及當地政府與社會的應對。同時，我們也從台灣在東南亞的外交與投資等方面切入，探討台灣海外的關係與發展，如何受到也積極應對中國的作用。這個工作坊從國際強權如美中關係以及區域地緣政治脈絡，探討「全球中國」(Global China)興起的機制，以及「全球台灣」(Global Taiwan)的可能樣貌。
